Author Guidelines
Authors must submit manuscripts online by first registering as an author at https://jurnal.untag-banyuwangi.ac.id/index.php/jurnalsangkala/user/register
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Manuscripts must be ORIGINAL and have not been published in other journals.
- Articles are written on A4 paper using Microsoft Word with a top page margin of 3 cm, bottom 2 cm, right 2.55 cm, left 2.5 cm with a spacing of 1 Cambria 12 font.
- Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts are written in Cambria 12 with single spacing and one column format.
- Please send your manuscript file using Microsoft Word document (DOC/DOCX)
- The abstract must be written in English and Indonesian with a maximum of 200 words.
- The length of the manuscript written must not exceed 4000 words consisting of a whole page
MANUSCRIPT BODY:
In general, the structure of a scientific article consists of 10 main parts, namely: (1) Title; (2) Author's identity; (3) Abstract; (4) Keywords; (5) Introduction; (6) Method; (7) Results and Discussion; (8) Conclusion; (9) Bibliography.
Title
- The title should be concise and informative, no more than 15 words, including conjunctions, and capitalize the first letter of each word except conjunctions.
- To keep the title short and concise in 15 words, avoid linking words and mentioning objects, places, or research materials in too much detail.
- The title contains keywords from the topic being researched.
- The title is written using Cambria 14 font and bold, with 1.5 spacing and Centered .

Writer
- The author consists of two parts, namely the author's name and the author's institutional affiliation. The affiliation follows the place.
- The author's name is the person who was truly involved in the planning, implementation, analysis of results, discussion, and writing of the report and academic/functional position or degree is not listed, using Cambria 12 font, bold and single-spaced.
- The name of the institution is listed in full, written under the author's name along with the email address and facsimile (if any) for correspondence purposes, in Cambria 12 font, not bold and single line spacing.
- If there is more than one author and they come from different institutions, then all web addresses are listed by placing a superscript lower case letter after the author's name in sequence.
Abstract
- The abstract is written concisely and factually, including research objectives, research methods, results, and conclusions.
- The abstract is written in one paragraph; written in Indonesian; with the abstract length ranging from 150 to 200 words.
- Avoid unusual references and the use of abbreviations.

Keywords
- Keywords consist of 3 to 5 words and/or word groups.
- Written based on the urgency of the word.
- Keywords are separated by a comma (,).
- Avoid too many conjunctions (and, with, that, etc.).

Introduction
- In general, the introduction contains the background, discussion of the problem, objectives of the activity, and literature review.
- Authors are required to present a review of primary literature (references to journal articles and conference proceedings) and exchange (references published within the last 10 years).
- The manuscript is written using Cambria 12, single spacing.
- Citation creation uses Mendeley or similar applications with APA type.
Method
- In the application method section, describe clearly and concisely the methods used to achieve the objectives set out in the research activity.
- The research results must be measurable and the author is asked to explain the measuring instruments used, both descriptively and qualitatively.
- Use diagrams in writing research methods.
- Explains how to measure the level of success of research activities.
- The method is written using Cambria 12, single spacing.
Results and Discussion
- Describe how activities are carried out to achieve the objectives.
- Explaining the indicators for achieving objectives and the benchmarks used to indicate the success of the research activities that have been carried out.
- The research results must be measurable and the author is asked to explain the measuring instruments used, both descriptively and qualitatively.
- Documentation can be in the form of images of the application or implementation of activities.
- Written using Cambria 12, single spacing
Conclusion
- The conclusion should clearly indicate the results obtained, their advantages and disadvantages, and the possibilities for further development.
- The conclusion can be in the form of a paragraph, but it is better to use bullet points using numbering or bullets.
- Written using Cambria 12, single spacing.
Bibliography
- Minimum number of references 15
- Use the Mendeley application to write a bibliography with the style type: APA
- Use references from the last 10 years
- Written using Cambria 12, single spacing.
BOOK REVIEW GUIDELINES
Title: The title must include the name of the author of the book, year of publication, title of the book, city of publication, name of the publisher, number of pages, and ISSN/ISBN. Price
