Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines how teachers function as facilitators, mentors, motivators, and evaluators during the learning process. The results show that the role of teachers has a significant impact in developing students' creativity, critical thinking skills and innovation. Through the project- based learning method, teachers not only direct students in completing tasks, but also create a learning environment that supports the exploration of ideas, collaboration, and the application of knowledge in a real context. Thus, this research highlights the importance of teachers' active role in creating an innovative learning atmosphere and empowering students to think creatively and critically.
2025-06-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Farhatul Maknunahhttps://jurnal.untag-banyuwangi.ac.id/index.php/j-tech/article/view/502Development of Lesson Activities in English to Improve Student Profile of Pancasila 2025-01-10T08:23:21+07:00Intan Adelia Ngizatul Kharismainkhaaaaa@gmail.comJesica Meidyas Putrijesicameyptr@gmail.com
This study aims to develop effective English learning activities to support the improvement of the profile of Pancasila students at the secondary school level. The profile of Pancasila learners includes values such as faith, devotion to God Almighty, noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. The development method used is the research and development (R&D) model which includes the stages of needs analysis, activity design, trial, and effectiveness evaluation. The results showed that English learning activities integrated with Pancasila values were able to improve communication skills, critical thinking, and students' ability to work together in a diverse environment. This is reflected in the positive responses of students and teachers who consider learning activities more relevant and applicable in daily life. This study concludes that the integration of Pancasila values in English learning has a positive impact on student character development in accordance with the profile of Pancasila learners.
2025-06-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Intan Adelia Ngizatul Kharisma, Jesica Meidyas Putrihttps://jurnal.untag-banyuwangi.ac.id/index.php/j-tech/article/view/530Narrative Inquiry: The Use of Authentic Material in English Language Learning at Elementary School in Banyuwangi 2025-01-11T09:07:08+07:00Dita Aprilianiditaaprilianipunya@gmail.com
This study aims to explore the experiences of students and teachers in using authentic materials in English language learning at elementary schools in Banyuwangi. Using a qualitative research design and a narrative inquiry approach, the study involved 15 fourth and fifth-grade students and two English teachers who have experience using authentic materials. The findings indicate that the use of authentic materials relevant to the local context significantly enhances students' motivation, language skills, and understanding of English. Students feel more connected to the material taught when it reflects their culture and daily life, such as articles about local tourist attractions and traditions. Although there are challenges in selecting materials that are appropriate for students' skill levels, this research emphasizes that authentic materials can make English language learning more contextual and meaningful. The results of this study provide important insights for the development of curricula and English teaching practices in Indonesia.
2025-06-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Dita Apriliani
